Blast from the Pa......Unknown

One Tree Hill last night???

What was that-- being my normal obsessed self- I was a bit confused entering the CW OTH lounge last night----not really knowing where to start---
Pretty girl to Peyton ??? Julian and Dan ?? Brooke still lingering with eyes for Lucas??? Haley and Nathan can't ever be left alone can they??? Peyton falls in the end ???

For one this season has been crazy with EVERYTHING--Victoria, Brooke's Attack, Q's Death, CRAZY PSYCHO NANNY CARRIE, the engagement or our lovers <3,>
.... the episode was Lucas' first screenplay attempt and he through himself and his life back into the 1940's to play with the films of the era, deciet, murder, love, betrayal etc. He started in Karen's Cafe which was a bustling nite club and then the confusion began...things were confused or chnaged--not sure which
One question... why the 1940's??

........a bit of ....NO a lot of confusion went on in last nights episode-- and fans are making it known

hugapresby: Mon, Nov 17, 2008 at 11:50 pm EST
this was such a waste of an hour.

joyfulgranny: Tue, Nov 18, 2008 at 1:14 am EST
I disagree with hugapresby...I thought it was a fun episode, and there was quite a bit of similarity between events in the dream episode and the "real" one tree hill...I just hope that the end with Peyton being killed in the dream episode and then doubling over after hanging up from talking with Lucas isn't an omen of what is to come...

heybeautyful: Tue, Nov 18, 2008 at 8:19 am EST
It was out of the ordinary & fun! It's nice to mix things up a bit, and what better way to do it than going back to the 1940's! They all looked like they were having a blast!
absolutely loved the Nathan and Haley story in this episode! I just love those two together! The rest of the episode was pretty boring though. Did anyone else notice Lucas kept switching between having an accent and not having an accent? And i agree with couchpotato about sophias voice! I love the character of Brooke but sophias voice is getting on my last nerve!! Anyway lets hope there is more Deb or Dan next week and less Peyton! :)

Auntielore: Tue, Nov 18, 2008 at 8:37 am EST
I really enjoyed this episode. It was nice to see the drama but know that everyone is coming out of it okay (hopefully). It was beautiful and Chad was right Paul Johannson really did a fabulous job, as did Austin Nichols. And Payton collapsing at the end held just enough of a cliff hanger to make me anxious for next week.

greeneyed79: Tue, Nov 18, 2008 at 11:32 am EST
I was worried about how stupid this episode was going to be as soon as I saw the preview last week. I had hopes that it would turn out to be decent...but it was just stupid and a waste of time. I have no patience for episodes of shows that don't progress the story line at all. We learned nothing new last night. Had they made it a 1940's episode and still mixed in some of what is really going on to progress the story line I would have enjoyed it much more.

shadester: Tue, Nov 18, 2008 at 11:52 am EST
From the prevews this looked like it would be good but it was such a let down. It could have been SO MUCH better. Go back to the drawing board Chad. You can do better than this..or maybe you cant. Personally i dont like the guy but i thought he would do better than this. It had a decent plot but it was boring and the acting was bad and it was just predictable, and silly. Peyton looked awful by the way. It would have been nice to throw a scene to Jamie as a different character of course. Taht would have been adorable. and maybe Keith but then if he was the major plot i guess not. So at the end is this where we find out that peyton is preggers?

Hmmm so we have a lot fo options and definite opinions--I for one could never stopped watching-I've been an addict since day one-- wasn't the best episode but every season has a few for you to relax and actually breathe during--this season has been crazy and I've been sitting on the edge of my seat, I think it was a good change of pace at just about the right timing:)

As for Peyton we have opinions maybe she's pregnant, maybe she miscarried, maybe she just felt the shot that killed her in Lucas's movie/dream???

Guess we'll find out :)

Tribute to my Morghan <3

Morghan Courtney this is for you <3

In kindergarten your idea of a good friend was the person who let you have the red crayon when all that was left was the ugly black one.

In first grade your idea of a good friend was the person who went to the bathroom with you and held your hand as you walked through the scary halls.

In second grade your idea of a good friend was the person who helped you stand up to the class bully.

In third grade your idea of a good friend was the person who shared their lunch with you when you forgot yours on the bus.

In fourth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who was willing to switch square dancing partners in gym so you wouldn't have to be stuck do-si-do-ing with Nasty Nicky or Smelly Susan.

In fifth grade your idea of a friend was the person who saved a seat on the back of the bus for you.

In sixth grade your idea of a friend was the person who went up to Nick or Susan, your new crush, and asked them to dance with you, so that if they said no you wouldn't have to be embarrassed.

In seventh grade your idea of a friend was the person who let you copy the social studies homework from the night before that you had.

In eighth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who helped you pack up your stuffed animals and old baseball cards so that your room would be a "high schooler's" room, but didn't laugh at you when you finished and broke out into tears.

In ninth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who went to that "cool" party thrown by a senior so you wouldn't wind up being the only freshman there.

In tenth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who changed their schedule so you would have someone to sit with at lunch.

In eleventh grade your idea of a good friend was the person who gave you rides in their new car, convinced your parents that you shouldn't be grounded, consoled you when you broke up with Nick or Susan, and found you a date to the prom.

In twelfth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who helped you pick out a college, assured you that you would get into that college, helped you deal with your parents who were having a hard time adjusting to the idea of letting you go.

At graduation your idea of a good friend was the person who was crying on the inside but managed the biggest smile one could give as they congratulated you.

The summer after twelfth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who helped you clean up the bottles from that party, helped you sneak out of the house when you just couldn't deal with your parents, assured you that now that you and Nick or you and Susan were back together, you could make it through anything, helped you pack up for college and just silently hugged you as you looked through blurry eyes at 18 years of memories you were leaving
behind, and finally on those last days of childhood, went out of their way to come over and send you off with a hug, a lot of memories, reassurance that you would make it in college as well as you had these past 18 years, and most importantly sent you off to college knowing you were loved.

Now, your idea of a good friend is still the person who gives
you the better of the two choices, holds your hand when your scared,

helps you fight off those who try to take advantage of you, thinks of you at times when you are not there, reminds you of what you have forgotten, helps you put the past behind you but understands when you need to hold on to it a little longer, stays with you so that you have confidence, goes out of their way to make time for you, helps you clear up your mistakes, helps you deal with pressure from others, smiles for you when they are sad, helps you become a better person, and most importantly loves you.

Morghan Courtney, my other half, my Twinie, my birthday buddy, my sister because we're onlys, my love, my life, my secret sharer, MY BEST FRIEND.
You are my best friend now and always,
I just wanted to tell you that I miss you and I can't wait to see you again :) Sooooo Sooon :) <3 ALWAYS BFF

The REAL housewives are.....

So my obsession continues- I'm just in LOVE with this show....so I wanted to clue some of you in on the REAL housewives.... here are the girl's Bios......

Kim Zolciak

Kim lives in an exclusive gated townhouse community in Duluth, GA with her two children, 11-year-old Brielle and six-year-old Ariana. Zolciak is single, but happily dating a celebrity whom we all know as Big Poppa- whom according to Kim would do ANYTHING to see her happy (which often involves her charging to his card) Kim is high with hopes to marry again in the near future. She also has her sights set on fame in the music business as a country singer, and is currently working with Grammy award-winning mega-producer Dallas Austin and will begin recording an album later this year. A staple on the Atlanta scene, Zolciak balances life as a single mom with a vivacious social life-always having to be the trendiest and best looking one in the room.

Nene Leakes

Leakes is an active member of Atlanta society. She resides in the upscale Sugarloaf area of Atlanta with her husband Gregg, a successful real estate investor and business consultant, and their two sons, 18-year-old Brice and nine-year-old Brentt. Leakes donates her time to various foundations and is the founder of The Twisted Hearts Foundation, which brings awareness to domestic violence against women with their slogan,"Battered but not Broken". Nene is a vivacious woman always ready to have fun and of course gossip with good friends. She is a loving mother, passionate decorator but Kim would say not the best friend ! Drama tends to revolve around Nene. Never one to sit still, the outspoken social butterfly also hopes to open a luxury boutique hotel in
the very near future.

Lisa Wu- Hartell

Hartwell, a resident of a luxurious country club community in Duluth, GA, is a busy career woman who wears many hats -- she owns her own real estate firm, Hartwell & Associates, a jewelry line called Wu Girls, a baby clothing line, Hart 2 Hart Baby, and juggles a budding acting, modeling and writing career. She's a devoted wife to her husband, NFL player Ed Hartwell, and their three children 13-year-old Jordan, ten-year-old Justin and one-year-old EJ. When she's not running one of her many businesses or running after the kids, Hartwell is very active in Atlanta's social scene.
A constant balancing act Lisa will always be found saying "I won't do it if it won't make me money"

Sheree Witfield

Single socialite Whitfield, a resident of the exclusive Sandy Springs area of Atlanta, juggles her busy home life with a packed social calendar, Sheree is never seen in sweats, always dressed to the T, and the busy body and active socializer at EVERY one of Atlanta's finest parties adn gatherings. She is a busy working mother to three children --Tierra, Kairo and Kaleigh. Whitfield prides herself on her fashion sense, and owned her own upscale clothing boutique, Bella Azul, for years before closing up shop to focus on her next business venture after divorce with a star NFL player who was never involved in her children's lives, Sheree got out of the realtionship refusing to stay if she wasn't happy and began a clothing line called "She by Sheree." Whitfield is opening a new chapter in her life as a single mom while balancing her entrepreneurial spirit and active social life.

DeShawn Snow

Snow and her husband Eric, captain of the Cleveland Cavaliers, recently moved to their dream home in Alpharetta, GA. Mother to three boys -- nine-year-old EJ, six-year-old Darius and five-year-old Jarren, Snow is an active member of the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. She exercises her faith by running The DeShawn Snow Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on improving self-esteem in teenage girls. DeShawn is dedicated to her foundation but struggles pulling off a good fundraiser in her newness to the community and upscale lives of the people in Atlanta, she hasn't quite grasped the idea that she can't conquer the world in one day. She is a regular on the Atlanta social circuit and extremely active in local philanthropy, sitting on the board of three different charities, all while expertly juggling her busy social calendar with being an NBA wife and keeping up with her boys.

Well now you've met them The REAL housewives of Atlanta, the fab 5 women can be found on Bravo! on Tuesday nights at 10:00Pm EST.

Blake Lively- star of the CW hit Gossip Girl and co-star to Alexis Bledel, America Ferrara, and Amber Tamblyn in both Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movies :)

long straight and natural

I'm going with the waves .....definitely

I get a set of these every year on Christmas Eve- kind of a tradition in my family to get new comfy PJ's on Christmas Eve-- gotta look good on Christmas Eve- and especially on Christmas Morning when you wake up to find Santa's Goodies ! :)

If you hurry the Free Slippers will still be included when you purchase the set :)
